A multi-room TV system can cater for a number of distribution points throughout a dwelling, to suit the individual customers requirements. The capacity to service all the nominated TV points on a multi-room TV distribution system, depends on the signal strength and signal quality. If the signal strength and signal quality are good enough to support the TV points,  a multi-room TV system can be serviced from a single TV aerial. The more TV points that are added to a multi-room TV system, the more the TV signal has to be distributed to service each TV point. Therefore, to support the TV signal a distribution amplifier may need to be inserted within the system.
